For Men

Breast ultrasound in men is performed in cases of:

• pain or palpable lumps;

The examination helps determine the nature of changes and exclude serious pathology. If abnormalities are detected, patients may be referred to a specialized mammologist for further evaluation and treatment planning.

How to Prepare for a Breast Ultrasound?

No special preparation is required.

Recommendations:

• wear comfortable clothing;
• do not apply creams or oils to the examination area;
• if possible, undergo the examination during the recommended phase of the menstrual cycle.

There are no restrictions on food or fluid intake.
