    Pregnancy care in Mykolaiv

    Are you planning to become a mother or have you already found out about your pregnancy? At the ZDRAVO medical center, we have created a care program that combines modern medical protocols, an individual approach, and continuous support for the expectant mother.

    Pregnancy care at our centre is not just a series of visits, but a comprehensive system of care for a woman’s health and the baby’s development throughout all 9 months. Such pregnancy monitoring allows the doctor to track key health indicators of the mother and the baby’s development at every stage. You receive support from experienced obstetricians and gynecologists, a clear examination plan, monitoring of all key indicators, and timely response to any changes in condition.

    Confirmation of pregnancy with qualified medical care

    After a positive test, it is important to confirm the pregnancy with a doctor as soon as possible. At ZDRAVO, modern diagnostic methods are used, which allow to:

    • exclude ectopic pregnancy;
    • determine the gestational age with maximum accuracy;
    • assess hormonal balance and the condition of the reproductive system;
    • identify potential risks even before clinical symptoms appear.

    Early diagnosis makes it possible to properly plan further monitoring and ensure a safe course of pregnancy from the very first weeks.

    Comprehensive examination during pregnancy

    We understand that every pregnancy has its own characteristics, which is why we create an individual monitoring program for each patient. A comprehensive examination at ZDRAVO includes:

    • regular consultations with an obstetrician-gynecologist with assessment of well-being, blood pressure, body weight, and uterine growth;
    • scheduled laboratory tests to monitor metabolism, thyroid function, iron levels, and immune status;
    • ultrasound examinations according to the stage of pregnancy;
    • recommendations on nutrition, physical activity, and prevention of complications.

    This approach allows not only to monitor the course of pregnancy, but also to actively prevent possible problems.

    When to register for pregnancy care

    The optimal time for the first visit to a doctor is up to 10 weeks of pregnancy. During this period, it is possible to accurately determine the gestational age, conduct basic examinations, and assess the overall health of the expectant mother.

    Early consultation with a doctor is very important, as the main organs of the baby are formed during the first trimester. Timely medical supervision allows potential risks to be identified at early stages and helps ensure a safe pregnancy.

    Registering during the first trimester allows you to:

    • accurately determine the gestational age;
    • assess the overall health of the woman;
    • detect anemia, endocrine disorders, or infections;
    • create an individual examination plan for the entire pregnancy period.

    At the ZDRAVO medical center, we provide full documentation support throughout pregnancy, including issuing the necessary medical certificates and arranging maternity leave.

    The earlier you consult a doctor, the more opportunities there are to ensure a calm and safe pregnancy for both the mother and the future baby.

    How to choose a medical centre and doctor for pregnancy monitoring

    Comfort and trust in the doctor are key factors when choosing a specialist. Pay attention to:

    • the doctor’s experience in managing both physiological and complicated pregnancies;
    • availability of modern diagnostic equipment;
    • flexibility of appointment scheduling;
    • support from related specialists (endocrinologistcardiologist, psychologist).

    It is equally important that the medical centre provides a clear pregnancy care algorithm in accordance with the protocols of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

    Where you can register for pregnancy care

    A pregnant woman has the right to choose a medical institution regardless of her place of registration. This may be:

    1. A public antenatal clinic — an option with free basic examinations, but possible queues and limited service.
    2. A medical centre — comfort, an individual approach, and extended diagnostics without unnecessary waiting.

    ZDRAVO combines the advantages of both approaches — professional care, convenience, and personalized attention.

    • You are concerned about abdominal pain or unusual sensations during pregnancy
    • Your doctor has recommended regular check-ups and ultrasounds
    • You want one doctor to monitor your pregnancy from the beginning to delivery
    • You’ve been experiencing weakness, dizziness, or changes in your well-being

    Pregnancy monitoring helps to track the baby’s development and the mother’s health at every stage — without unnecessary stress or uncertainty.

    Who is an obstetrician-gynecologist?

    gynecologist is a doctor who accompanies a woman at all stages of pregnancy – from planning to childbirth. His or her task is to ensure safe childbearing and respond to any changes in the condition in a timely manner.

    When to visit

    You should visit before conception or at the first signs of pregnancy. Also, a consultation is necessary in case of pain, unusual discharge, cycle delay, or a previous complicated pregnancy.

    Reasons for observation

    Even if you are feeling well, it is important to be under observation to avoid risks. Women with chronic diseases, hormonal disorders, or a history of miscarriages are in the group of increased attention.

    Diseases treated by the doctor

    An obstetrician-gynecologist detects and controls pregnancy complications – toxicosis, gestosis, threat of miscarriage, infections. They also help in case of multiple pregnancies or fetal abnormalities.

    Methods of diagnosis and treatment

    The doctor prescribes ultrasound, blood tests, hormone panels, and, if necessary, consultations with related specialists. Treatment and support are selected individually according to the patient’s condition and gestational age.

    Pregnancy care programs at ZDRAVO — what’s included and how to choose

    We have designed our programs so that every expectant mother receives a clear and structured monitoring plan — without chaos, unnecessary visits, or uncertainty about “what’s next?”. Each pregnancy care package includes regular check-ups with an obstetrician-gynecologist, scheduled laboratory tests, and instrumental diagnostics according to the stage of pregnancy.

    How to choose a program

    • If you register during the first trimester, the basic program will be suitable. It is important to complete all scheduled examinations on time during this period to avoid losing valuable time.
    • If you seek care later or prefer more comprehensive monitoring, the optimal choice is the standard program.
    • If you are already in the second half of pregnancy, have all the necessary results of scheduled examinations, and need systematic support until delivery, the final program will be the best option.

    Frequently asked questions

    When should I see a doctor after a positive pregnancy test?

    It is best to schedule an appointment within the first week after confirming pregnancy, even if you feel well. This allows the doctor to assess risks, rule out ectopic pregnancy, and prescribe safe vitamins from the very first days.

    Do I need to take tests if I feel completely healthy?

    Yes, most pregnancy complications in the early stages develop without symptoms. Laboratory tests help detect anemia, infections, or hormonal imbalances before complaints arise.

    Does the mother’s Rh factor affect the course of pregnancy?

    If a woman has a negative Rh factor, the doctor monitors antibody levels and, if necessary, prescribes Rh conflict prevention to avoid complications for the fetus.

    Do I need to change my lifestyle after registration?

    Adjusting nutrition, sleep patterns, and physical activity is part of modern pregnancy care, as these factors directly affect placental formation and fetal development.

    When is the first screening performed and what does it show?

    The first prenatal screening is performed in the first trimester and helps assess the risk of chromosomal abnormalities, organ formation, and fetal development rate.

    Can I choose a doctor for pregnancy care?

    Yes, the patient has the right to independently choose a specialist based on experience, reviews, and personal comfort in communication.

    Do tests need to be repeated if they were done before pregnancy?

    Yes, preconception test results do not replace monitoring during pregnancy, as the body’s physiology changes significantly already in the first weeks.

    Check - Up
